Work and Witness Project with Parker Nazarene Church
November 2023
The members of our church partnered with our sister church on the Native American District in Parker, Arizona to construct a permanent shade structure on a patio area of the Parker Nazarene Church. Our Missions Council raised the funds to purchase the steel structure and cover costs for a Nazarene contractor to get the necessary licenses and permits to construct the shade.

We love and value all our members. We want our church to feel like home.
"
"I started attending the Lake Havasu Church of the Nazarene about a year ago, and I must say it is one of the most tight knit churches I have ever attended. Everyone is so welcoming and kind. It truly feels like a family. Every person is accepted and loved despite their pasts. I love being apart of the worship here! The Holy Spirit fills this place with love and laughter. We are more than a church, we are a community."
Church Member
Lake Havasu Church of the Nazarene is supported by a dedicated leadership.
Lead Pastor
Pastor Cindy sensed God's call shortly after she accepted Jesus as her personal savior at age 11. She has served in ministry for over 25 years in various capacities. Her favorite quote is: " Don't tell God how big your mountains are, tell the mountains how big your God is." Her life verse is Proverbs 3: 5-6.
Music & Missions
Sharon is a professor at Arizona State University-Lake Havasu and is an accomplished pianist and worship leader. She leads Light the Fire, our contemporary praise band. She was recently elected to the Lake Havasu School Board. She has a true burden for missions, as her parents and brother were life-long missionaries.
Music and Sunday School
Loyd Rains is a trained musician who grew up singing in the church choir. We are blessed by his organization of the praise team each service. Loyd helps provide a lively ensemble of worship music. He believes in providing music to which people can open themselves to the movement of the Holy Spirt. Loyd enjoys both contemporary Christian music as well as traditional hymns.
Missions President
Kris was elected our local Nazarene Missions International President recently, and is excited to bring our Nazarene missionaries to our church. Ever since participating in a Work & Witness trip to Quito Ecuador in 2013, Kris has developed a passion for missions.
Children and Nursery
Joanne Lane has worked in Lake Havasu Church of the Nazarene's children's department since coming to our church over 30 years ago. She is bubbly and full of love for all of our little church members. Joanne has helped create an environment where your child will laugh, learn, play, explore, develop, and feel loved in a safe environment! At Lake Havasu Church of the Nazarene your children will learn about God and make life long friends.
Youth Leaders
Roger and Stacie have been working as the youth directors for over five years. They provide a safe and structured place for teens to gather, make friends, and learn Gods word. Roger and Stacie love kids and look out for them. They believe in creating a youth group where students can feel like they belong and grow into young men and women of God who poses a strong moral character. You can learn more about our children's ministry and youth group "here".
