Meet Our Pastor

Pastor Cindy received God's call to ministry shortly after she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and was baptized at the age of eleven. That calling has taken her on an amazing journey, serving in ministry for over twenty-five years. She is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene. She served as a staff pastor at Colorado Springs First Church for a total of twelve years. She was a staff pastor at Sun City Church of the Nazarene here in Arizona as well. She also served for a season as Interim Chaplain at Nazarene Bible College.

Pastor Cindy loves to share the Lord Jesus Christ and His Word with others. She challenges people to use their talents, abilities, and spiritual gifts for the glory of God. Her favorite quote is, “Don’t tell God how big your mountains are; tell the mountains how big your God is!” Her favorite life verses are Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Our Values.

The following are the core values of the Nazarene church.

Our mission statement is to reach our broken world with the love and hope of Jesus Christ!

Holiness

We believe that God calls us to live a holy life. The Holy Spirit convicts, cleanses, fills, and empowers us. The Bible also informs us of how to live a holy life. God's spirit works within us to reproduce in us a character of holy love.

Christian

We are followers of Christ. We profess belief in Jesus as the Christ and follow His teachings. Additionally, we believe that God offers grace and will forgive our sins if we let the Holy Spirit in our hearts. We believe in the Trinity.

Outreach

God tells us that we need to help others. We are a witness to God's love and it's our job to share this love. Therefore, we do this by serving our community and world through practical methods and by covering others with prayer. We believe in love in action!

Prayer

We believe that prayer is vital to the spiritual health of a church. In Matthew 21:13, Jesus said, "My house will be called a house of

prayer ..." While preaching, Bible classes, and other ministries are

vitally important in church life, we recognize that without prayer, we can never fully accomplish God's perfect will. We invite you to become a part of our prayer ministry that is making a genuine difference for God's kingdom work!

Work and Witness Project with Parker Nazarene Church

November 2023

The members of our church partnered with our sister church on the Native American District in Parker, Arizona to construct a permanent shade structure on a patio area of the Parker Nazarene Church. Our Missions Council raised the funds to purchase the steel structure and cover costs for a Nazarene contractor to get the necessary licenses and permits to construct the shade.

Testimonial

We love and value all our members. We want our church to feel like home.

"

"I started attending the Lake Havasu Church of the Nazarene about a year ago, and I must say it is one of the most tight knit churches I have ever attended. Everyone is so welcoming and kind. It truly feels like a family. Every person is accepted and loved despite their pasts. I love being apart of the worship here! The Holy Spirit fills this place with love and laughter. We are more than a church, we are a community."
